Buti is an Indian Marathi word meaning “the cure to something kept hidden or secret”. In this dynamic practice we use ancient yoga techniques, plyometrics and tribal/primal movements to activate the shakti energy. Buti yoga utilizes the spiral structure technique to sculpt + tone those abs. Through the spiral technique we awaken the chakras and cultivate CONFIDENCE + SELF LOVE.
The word “Hatha” has two meanings. Hatha is the umbrella word for all physical practices of yoga (asana) and the yoga of opposing energies, ha (sun) and tha (moon). This slower class respects both usages of the word Hatha by using physical practices to find a balance. There is a focus on basic alignment, actions within the poses, mindfulness and listening to your own body. The class is well-rounded and focuses on the mind-body connection to build strength and flexibility in the body and mind. A great class for beginners to build a solid foundation and for experienced practioners to refine their practice and knowledge.
